If you need a good face toner, give apple cider vinegar a try. After washing your face, just mix 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar with 2 cups of water as a rinse to clean and tighten your skin.

Cocoa Hydration Mask

For preparing this facial, mash 1 quarter of an avocado then stir it with 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder and 1 tablespoon of honey. Wash your face, pat it dry and then apply the mixture on your skin for 10 minutes. Later remove it with warm water and moisturize. The mixture of ingredients will hydrate, pore-refine, and sooth your face with great antioxidant and antibacterial properties.

Strawberry Facial Mask

Good for all skin types for exfoliating and brightening, it works as a natural antioxidant, preservative, and antibacterial weapon for your skin’s health. For this you need to blend 3 strawberries and 1 ounce of lemon juice then pour it into either a mixing bowl or storage container. Mix it with 1 personalized container of Greek sized yogurt and 1 ounce of honey. Place the mixture into the freezer for 20 minutes, apply it on your skin for 10 minutes, and finally remove it with a warm cloth.

Overnight Green Tea Mask

This facial mask helps to sooth the skin and balance the oil production. It also works on pigmented skin, blemishes and uneven skin tone. All you need to do is brew 1-2 green tea bags for 10 minutes, then after the water you used has cooled down, take 2 tablespoons of it in a bowl to mix with an equal amount of potato juice. Apply this mixture all over your face and neck, and with a cotton ball apply some of it under the eye area to lighten dark circles.

Overnight Coconut Oil Facial Mask

For hydration, clear skin, and fighting off skin infections, coconut oil is just what you need. For this mask, apply a teaspoon of coconut oil on your face in a circular motion. You can also add tea tree or lavender essential oil for acne-fighting help. Massage the oil deeply into your cheeks, nose, forehead, chin, and any other problematic areas, then with a facecloth soaked in hot water, wring it out and place it over your face for a minute. After, use the facecloth to gently remove any excess coconut oil, and whatever is left, leave it overnight to be rinsed off with warm water in the morning.
With these facial masks in hand, your face will soon be clean, healthy and radiant. There’s no need to be going to the spa, with these recipes you can do your own self-care spa place right at home for your own convenience.
