Holi hair health care body

Our hair is our pride, and with holi being just around, we do so much we can to protect it, and yet somehow fail. But with these pro personalized healthcare tips, I’m sure your hair will continue to look flawless after buckets of color and all those fun.

Cold is gold

Hot water is the best solution for all? Maybe not this time. Washing your hair and face with hot water may make the color stain more and get tougher to get rid of. Rinse your hair with cold water for personalized healthcare first thing after playing holi.

Hair care is the best care:

Massage egg yolk onto your scalp for 30 minutes. If you’re not into the whole egg thing, put some methi powder and curd onto the hair. This will not only get rid of color but get rid of chemicals and protect your hair.

Wash it off:

While washing the hair, first, rinse with plenty of plain water to wash away the dry colors and tiny particles of mica. Then apply a mild herbal shampoo, working it into the hair with the fingers. Massage the scalp gently and rinse thoroughly with water again.

Booze to defuse:

Beer can be used as a last rinse. In fact, it will soften and condition the hair. Add the juice of a lemon to the beer. Pour the mixture over your hair after shampooing. Leave on for a few minutes and rinse off with plain water.

The aftermath:

Within the next few days, give your hair a nourishing treatment. Mix one tablespoon pure coconut oil with one teaspoon castor oil. Heat the mixture and apply it to the hair. Then dip a towel in hot water, squeeze out the water and wrap the hot towel around the head, like a turban. Keep it on for 5 minutes. Repeat the hot towel wrap 3 or 4 times. This helps the hair and scalp absorb the oil better. Wash your hair after an hour for personalized healthcare for hair.

Oil solution:

Use neem oil for the hair. Heat 250 ml pure coconut oil or sesame seed oil. Take a handful of neem leaves and add them to the oil. Keep under the sun for 4 or 5 days. Strain the leaves and keep the oil for use to relieve itching and scalp eruptions.

Oil your hair

Flower and shower:

For oily hair, add a handful of fresh marigold flowers to three cups of hot water. Allow it to stand for an hour. Strain and cool the water and use it to rinse the hair after shampoo.

  1. What does beer do to hair?

So beer can hydrate and nourish the hair. Not only that, it also clarifies the hair color and gives it a major sheen. Many people use it to stimulate the growth of the hair, as well as as a treatment for frizzed hair.

  2. Does beer remove dandruff?

Beer is not necessarily anti-fungal in nature and can’t really help you with the dandruff-causing germs. It can dry out any greasiness on your skin and people believe that this is enough to take care of your dandruff. But once you stop, your dandruff is bound to come back.

  3. Does Holi color stain hair?

Once your hair is soaked with oil, you are completely free to play with Holi colors and go wild. All the color will come off because the oil works as a barrier, and prevents the color from getting into your hair cuticle

  4. Does oil remove hair color?

Hot oil treatment is a slow but beneficial treatment to remove your hair color. Apply your favorite hot oil every night. Lightly warm the oil and apply it to the scalp and the hair length. Now, wrap your hair in a towel and wash it off with lukewarm water.

  5. How can I protect my hair from Holi color?

There is no way to prevent your hair from getting wet or colored in this frenzy. So, shampoo and condition them well on the day of the festival. Then massage your hair well with oil and tie them up in a bun. This will ensure that the scalp and hair do not absorb colors too easily.
