When a chilled glass of thandai is mentioned, the first thing that comes to mind is all the hustle bustle on streets and at college parks during the monsoon. The excitement among the group while choosing their favourite flavour and finally diving into the cup of thandai after washing it down with some tangy khaman. A sigh of relief and enjoyment washes over as you let go of all your worry and let yourself free to just chill.
Auric Thandai was born out of the idea that anything can be made better that nature has to offer. While there are many different ways to enjoy Thandai, whether it is a simple preparation or a complex concoction with milk, honey and dry fruits, what they all have in common is that they leave out the nuts, seeds, spices and herbs from nature’s arsenal. After all, why should you limit yourself when Mother Nature provides for so much?
